CX380-Controller via Internet connection in real time.

Enter the CX180R-IGM port number to be used and then return to the USG+FEC menu.

For operations between CX380S-D3.1 and another CX380S-D3.1 unit:

Remotely control another CX380S-D3.1 in responder mode for the following:

Spectrum Analysis

Return Path QAM Analysis

Return Path Alignment with CW signal generated by USG

1. Under the Setup/Main menu, select 'Controller' under Remote View Mode.

2. Under the Advanced Tools menu, press the Remote View tab.

3. On the Remote View Setup page:

For Responder Type, select CX380

Edit or select CX380S-D3.1 Responder by IP address and name

Select the IP Port type

Press 'Connect' to start

4. After connection is successfully made, press 'Exit' to start the Remote View application. To stop Remote View, enter the

Remote View menu and press 'Disconnect'.

To conduct Spectrum Analysis:

1. From the Home menu, enter Spectrum Analysis.

Spectrum analysis can be from 5 to 1000MHz. The sample shown is the QAM signal generated by the CX380-

Controller unit and measured by the CX380-Responder unit. Live spectrum traces are sent from the CX380-

Responder and displayed by the CX380-Controller in real time via Internet connection. A shortcut to USG+FEC

is available to allow quick access to the USG features.

To change USG signal type:

Shortcuts are available on Spectrum Analysis and Return Path Analysis screens to go to USG with FEC screen to make any

changes in the set up.

Shortcuts to Spectrum Analysis and Return Path (RP) Analysis are also provided on the USG with FEC screen.
