Injects different anomalies into the transmit signal. Error insertion flow modes include:

Single:

Inserts a single error every time the insertion button is tapped

Count:

Specific count or number of errors when the insertion button is tapped

Rate:

Specific rate between 1x10

-3

and 5x10

-6

The list of available error types depends on the type of framing being used and the SDH, SONET or OTN hierarchies and line

interfaces that have been selected.
