Shows the following information:
1. Selected route planning criterion:

C : Fastest
–
V : Shortest
–
N
: Along main roads
–
M : No main roads
2. GPS reception status:
The number of received satellites is shown.
Up to 8 satellites are received with a clear view of the sky.
3. Current driving direction (compass). The arrow always shows the north direction.
4. Date and time.
Changing the route planning criterion:

Select the desired criterion for route planning.
i4 Travel
The travel screen shows you the following
information:

Current vehicle speed

Average vehicle speed
–
Elapsed travel distance
–
Elapsed travel time
Resetting travel data:

Confirm the reset query with “ Yes ”.

All values of the travel data screen are set to zero.
Speed warning:
You can specify a speed limit at which a warning signal will be heard as soon as you
exceed the specified speed. For setting the speed limit see “Speed”, page 42.

Shows the following information is shown:
1. TMC status:

TMC icon black: TMC traffic information is
received from an RDS-TMC station;

TMC icon finely shaded: Received radio station
does not broadcast TMC information;
–
TMC icon coarsely shaded: Inserted map CD does
not support TMC.
2. Display of TMC-transmitting radio station (TMC provider).
Not all TMC stations transmit the TMC provider name.
