Compass
Activating/ deactivating the compass display on the screen.

: Displaying the compass needle (north) in the bottom left hand corner of the
screen.

: Compass is not displayed.

AF retuning
Setting the RDS AF function.
Settings:

: Automatic retuning to alternative frequencies for the same station.

: No automatic retuning to alternative frequencies. The radio keeps to the recei-
ving frequency set.

In conjunction with the regional function the radio can switch to a different regio-
nal programme from the same station for a certain period of time. In this case acti-
vate the corresponding regional function option (see “Regional”).

SDVC
Adjustment for speed-dependent volume control.
Settings:

: Small (1) to large (5) increase in volume on acceleration.

: No speed-dependent volume control.

Max.start vol.
Setting the maximum volume when the unit is switched on.

When you switch on the unit, the volume will always be set to this level if the vo-
lume was louder than this level when you switched off.

Search level
Setting the search level for the radio.

: Only stations with a high field strength will be found during the search.

: Stations with a low field strength will also be found during the search.

Tuner grid
Setting the tuner grid for the radio.

: Frequency range FM 87.5 - 108 MHz; MW 531 - 1629 kHz
Tuning steps for automatic search: FM: 100 kHz; MW: 9 kHz;
Tuning steps for manual search: FM: 50 kHz; MW: 1 kHz.

: Frequency range FM 87.9 -107.9 MHz; MW 530 -1710 kHz
Tuning steps for automatic search: FM: 200 kHz; MW: 10 kHz;
Tuning steps for manual search: FM: 100 kHz; MW: 1 kHz.
