Guidance screen; Overview 2

The following information is also displayed:

e

Progress bar with the distance to the next turn-off point.
A full bar indicates that you are right on the turn-off point.

Detailed turn-off prompt: Appears as soon as you are approaching a crossing or a
turn-off.
In addition, turn-offs are announced with audible messages.

Legal speed limit on the current route section and warning if you are exceeding the
limit.

Availability of the legal speed limit can vary depending on the map CD used and on
the country/ region.

Indication of the nearest road obstruction on the planned route (only if dynamic
route planning is active).

Traffic jam symbol

: Appears if there are road obstructions on the planned

route.

During guidance

Did you ignore the last message?

If you did not follow the last guidance message or if you were not able to follow it
due to traffic conditions (road works, etc.), the system will, within a few seconds, plan
a new route from the current position of your car to your destination.

■

Convenient resumption of guidance

Following a stopover (ignition off) the navigation radio can continue the previous
guidance upon request.

■

Guidance beyond digitised roads

If you leave a digitised road, the arrow pointing to the nearest digitised road will ap-
pear automatically.

If that is the case, continue in the direction of the arrow until you reach a digitised
road.

As soon as you return to a digitised road, you will receive destination guidance
again.
