5. Description
Construction of Machine
The machine stands on four feet, adjustable for height
and is arranged for integration into a vacuum packing
line.
Principle of Operation
The VC999 85.47i Shrink Tank operates on the method
of shrinkage by brief immersion in hot water. Incoming
product is registered by the photo cell (21) and starts
the fully automatic immersion cycle. The product is
brought into the machine and immersed in the hot
water. This causes the shrinkable bag (especially
projecting portions) to fit closely to the product.
When the immersion cycle is complete the product is
automatically removed from the Shrink Tank.
