Cleaning filter
−
Switch off machine at main switch (16).
−
Close stop valve on water feed.
−
Remove back right-hand panel.
−
Screw off cover of filter (38), using a spanner 22,
and clean filter.
NOTICE
When the cover is removed the water between stop
valve and filter will run out.
−
Replace filter after cleaning.
−
Close back panel.
−
Open stop valve.
In Shrink Tanks with steam heating there is another
filter (40) in the steam line. Cleaning exactly as above.
WARNING
Risk of burns from the discharge of hot steam!
•
Cleaning of water level regulator
−
Switch off machine at main switch.
−
Empty tank through drain.
−
Remove right hand back panel.
−
Loosen and remove cap (46) SW38.
−
Remove distance piece (47) and float (48) from
bottom of tube.

Clean inside of tube.
−
Replace float (48) (Care: magnet upwards),
distance piece (47) and cap (48) in reverse
order. Use teflon tape to seal cap.
−
Replace right hand back panel.
−
The machine can now be operated again
(switch on main switch, fill with water).
13.2 Maintenance
The VC999 Customer Service is available on
request for all servicing.
Recommendation: Allow the VC999 Customer
Service to carry out complete servicing after 1,500
running hours. Servicing should be carried out at
least once a year.
13.2.1 Vertical guide for Immersion Platform
The vertical movement of the immersion platform
(18) is subject to wear, to avoid secondary damage
regularly checks are necessary.

Every 120 running hours:
•
Check the lifting movement for smooth and
quiet running and if necessary replace the
damaged parts.
•
Check the guide rolls (51) for wear and
clearance.
•
Do not grease guide rolls and bearing
surfaces!
