Carrying the Vacuum Cleaner
NOTE:
Ensure the dirt container is securely in
place before lifting the vacuum cleaner.
The vacuum cleaner can be stood in an upright
position for carrying and storage. On the underside
of the cleaner is a hook where the floor tool can be
parked. When in position, the vacuum cleaner can
be lifted up and carried by the carry handle
(Fig.3/10).
4. Accessories
The on-board tool storage means accessories are
always at hand when needed (Fig.4/1).
Combination Upholstery Tool/Dusting Brush:
The upholstery tool converts easily to a dusting
brush by sliding the two parts together (Fig.4/2).
Crevice Tool:
for crevices, corners, cracks, etc.

: The TurboTool

fits on the end of the
telescopic tubes and/or hose grip. Perfect for cleaning
stairs and upholstery. The TurboTool
TM
should be pulled
backwards for optimum cleaning (Fig.4/3).
Extending the Hose
For stair cleaning, the hose can be extended by
pressing the hose extending buttons to reveal further
hose for bottom to top stair cleaning (Fig.4/4).
NOTE:
When cleaning stairs, the vacuum cleaner
should be left lying flat at the bottom of the stairs.
5. Emptying the Dirt Container
1. Switch off the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the
power plug from the wall outlet.
2. Lift the top dirt container release latch and lift out the
dirt container (Fig.5/1).
3. Pull the release button to release the lid and empty
the dirt into a suitable container (Fig.5/1A).
4. Close the lid securely and re-attach the dirt
container into the body of the vacuum cleaner.
