Tyres
Factory-fitted tyres are matched to the
cha ssis and offer optimum d riv ing c om fort
and safety.
New tyres should be fitted in pairs, or for
preference in sets. Make sure tha t both
tyres on an axle are
z
the sam e size
z the sam e desig n
z the sam e ma ke
z and hav e the sam e tread pa ttern.
Changing tyre/wheel type
Before switching to different tyres or
wheels, seek advice on technical
possibilities. We recommend that you
consult your Vauxhall Approved Repa irer,
who will be able to advise you of any
necessary mod ifications.
Tyre inflation pressure
Check tyre pressures, at least every 14 d ays
and prior to any long journey. The tyres
should be check ed w hen cold.

Increased pressure resulting from tyre
warm -up must not be reduced, otherwise
the pressure may drop below the
permissible minimum.
After hav ing checked the tyre pressures,
securely tighten the valve caps.
Incorrect inflation pressures will impair
safety, vehicle handling, comfort and fuel
econom y and w ill increase tyre wear.
Hidd en tyre dama ge is not elim inated by
subsequently a djusting the inflation
pressure.
To protect yourself and other road users,
it is essential to ob serve the follow ing
rules.
Use of unsuitab le tyres or wheels m ay
lead to accidents and render the vehicle
unroa dworthy.
If the pressure is too low, this can result
in considera ble tyre wa rm -up and
interna l damag e, leading to tread
separation and ev en to tyre b low -out at
hig h speeds.
