Engine and load compartm ent cover
release
The engine cov er release lever is loca ted
behind the driver’s seat. To open the
engine cover, pull the lever forwa rd s. The
engine cover will then be unlocked and will
partially op en - return release lever to its
original position.
To hold the cover in the open position,
insert the support rod into the slot provided
in the underside of the engine cover.
Before closing the cover, press the support
rod firm ly into its retainer. Lower cover
slowly until it is alm ost closed (do not slam ).
Press firmly down centrally in the area of
the latch only to ensure it is fully closed.
The maximum weig ht of item s p la ced in
the load c om partment m ust not
exc eed 50 kg.
Aerosol c ans i.e. d e-icers, deodorants
etc. must not be stored in the rear
storage area as engine heat may create
the risk of explosion!
The ventila tion grilles on the engine
cover may b ecome hot during opera tion.
Care should be taken when handling the
cover.
