Replac ing wind sc reen wiper
Lift wiper arm, press a nd hold retaining clip
and detach wiper blade.
Windscreen wash system
Do not spray w ash fluid onto windscreen in
freezing weather, to avoid ice forming and
impairing vision.
The filler opening of the fluid container for
the windscreen wash system is located in
the front of the engine compartment.
Fill only with com mercially available,
ready-to-use w indscreen wash fluid .
Do not use tap water, as minera ls will
cause clogging in the system.
In cold weather, do not fill the windscreen
wash fluid reserv oir m ore than three-
quarters full, to allow enoug h room for
expansion if the fluid freez es, and to
prevent d amage to the reservoir.
In freezing conditions, use windsc reen
wash fluid with sufficient a ntifreezing
properties. Do not use coolant anti-freeze
or tap water, to av oid freezing the solution
and d amaging the windscreen w ash
system.
When closing the container, press the lid
down firmly all the w ay round.
If the fluid in the windscreen wash fluid
reservoir is too low, control indicator G
illuminates in the instrum ent cluster -
see page 69. Top up w ash fluid as soon as
possible.
