Battery discharge protection

To prevent battery from becoming

discharged, the external lights turn off
automatically approx. 10 m inutes after the

ignition is switched off.
Battery discharge protection will not work if

the lights are turned on 10 m inutes a fter
the ignition has been switched off; the k ey

cannot be removed from the starter switch
until the battery is recharged.

Headlights when driving abroad

The a sym metrical dipped bea m increases
the field of vision on the near side of the

lane.
When driving in countries which drive on

the opp osite  side of the road, this c auses
glare for oncoming tra ffic.
For  temporary  periods, to av oid  glare  the
head lig ht  pattern should b e ad justed

down to the horizontal position.
