Turning on the gas heater
– Open the tank valve (10) of the gas tank. The gas
feed is carried out by the pressure regulation
device (9).
– Bring the stepped regulator (2) to Position A.
– Press and hold down the stepped regulator (2).
– Press the ignition head (1) several times until the
heater ignites.
– Hold down the stepped regulator (2) for around 20
seconds.
– Press the the stepped regulator (2) down lightly
and turn anti-clockwise to the required heating
setting.
Turning off the gas heater
– Turn the tank valve (10) of the gas tank to the right
as far as it will go by hand.
– Press and hold down the stepped regulator (2)
and turn to Position A.
– Unscrew the coupling nut (8) from the connection
thread (11) of the gas tank. Remember, this is a
left thread!
– Replace the safety cap back on the gas tank.

– Undo the gas tank bracket (6) and remove the
gas tank.
– Insert a new gas tank in accordance with the
markings on the bottom plate (7).

Storage, transportation
Storage
– Always store device dry.
– Store device in a frost-free place.
– In case of long periods without use, remove the
gas bottle and stow it safely.
Storing outside
– When not in use, cover the gas heater with a
weather-proof cover. Allow the gas heater to cool
down completely before covering.
Storing in closed rooms
– Remove the gas tank and store outside.
Transport
– When dispatching, try to use the original packag-
ing, if possible.
– When transporting gas tanks, the national regula-
tions are to be observed.
– Separate the gas tank from the gas heater before
transporting.
Safety information for warehousing the gas bottle

The storage of gas bottles is not allowable in
rooms under ground level, in staircases, corri-
dors, passages of buildings, as well as in their
direct vicinity. The valves must be provided with
valve safety caps and closing nuts. Gas bottles –
also empty ones – must be stored upright.
Disposal
Disposal of the gas heater
By disposing of the product correctly you are ensur-
ing that it will be recycled or processed for reuse. This
helps prevent hazardous material from entering the
environment.
Disposing of the gas tank
Gas tanks that are no longer needed do not belong in
household waste, but must be disposed of according
to regulations.
– Take spent or empty gas tanks to the dealer’s or
community’s battery collection point.
Disposing of the packaging
The packaging consists of cardboard and marked
plastics that can be recycled.
– Take these materials to a recycling centre.
