Intended use
The device is only designed for non-commercial use
as a mobile heater.

The device must be operated according to the guide-
lines in the operating instructions.
Any unintended use or any activities on the device
not described in these operating instructions are con-
sidered an unauthorised misuse outside the manu-
facturer’s legal liability limits.
What are the meanings of the symbols used?
Notes indicating danger and other notes are clearly
identified in the instruction manual. The following
symbols are used:

General safety information
•
The user of the device must have read and under-
stood these operating instructions prior to its first
use in order to safely implement this device.
•
Please comply with all safety instructions! If you
disregard any of the safety instructions you may
place yourself and others at risk.
•
Store all operating information and safety instruc-
tions for future reference.
•
If you sell or pass on the device, you must also
pass on these operating instructions.
•
This unit may not be used by people (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capacities, with a lack of experience and with-
out the appropriate knowledge, unless they are
supervised by someone who is responsible for
their safety or have been instructed by such a per-
son with regard to how the unit is to be operated.
•
Keep children away from the device. Keep the
device away from children and unauthorised per-
sons.
•
Secure the device to prevent it from being
switched on by accident.
•
All components of the device, in particular, the
safety mechanisms, must be assembled correctly
in order to ensure trouble-free operation.
•
Conversions, independent modifications and the
use of non-approved parts are not permitted.
Operation/workplace
•
The device may only be used when it functions
properly. If the device or part of the device is
defective, have it repaired by a specialist.
•
Always comply with the all applicable domestic
and international safety, health, and working reg-
ulations.
•
The unit may only be put into operation if no
defects are found when it is checked. If a part is
defective, it must be replaced before the device is
used again.
•
Aeration and ventilation slots with a cross-section
which must have 2500 mm² per kWh (Hs) of ther-
mal load, but which when evenly distributed must
add up to a minimum cross-section of 5000 mm²
for the upper and lower slots.
•
A minimum room size is recommended which
relates to a 50W/m³ (Hs) for living quarters and
100W/m³ (Hs) for other rooms. The recom-
mended room volume may not be less than 15 m³.
•
Make sure that flammable materials or materials
that may explode are kept out of the immediate
vicinity.
•
Individuals under the age of 18 and those not
familiar with the operation of the device should not
be allowed to operate the device.
•
This unit may not be used by people (including
