Install electric cables, Cable preparation
Before installation of the cable to the Cooler, the external wiring shall be assembled with the required
contra-connector and crimp-terminals (§3.8). Follow the instructions supplied with the Binder crimp tool
(E) and the details as found below.
The locking of the cable of the mains connector is done by screwing, use tool D. It is highly recommended
to use ferrules for a more secure and reliable connection.
3.9.
Install electric cables, Power and Communication connector
1.
Connect the electrical connectors to the cable:
a.
For mains connection: Use Binder 99 4222 00 04 or equivalent
b.
For signals connection: Use Binder housing 99 6518 000 12 or equivalent and Binder
Crimp pins Binder 61 0893 139 or equivalent. Use the right tool (E) for crimping the crimp
pins.
REMARK: If the mains cable is connected to the Cooler using pins 2 and 3, it will immediately start
working.

For electrical connection pin numbering see Table 1 and Table 2.
3.
Connect the electrical connectors to the Cooler.
4.
The controller is pre-loaded with a generic cooling profile. This generic profile can be fine-tuned
to certain needs (see §5).
The Power and Communication connector are located at the interface side of the Cooler. See Figure 2.
The crimp pins in the communication connector are not displayed.
