Operating instructions
This chapter describes the operating instructions and adjustments for the settings.
Take care that before initial usage of the Cooler the hydraulic circuit is filled with the correct glycol-water
mixture.
5.1.
Switching the device ON and OFF
The Cooler does not have a physical switch to power on/off the device.
POWER-ON:
When the power supply to the Cooler is switched ON, or if an external 24VDC signal is sent to Remote
ON and the mains power is applied, the Cooler starts up. During the power-ON the controller is
initializing, which takes a few seconds, all the LEDs on the interface display will light up. The initialization
cycle ends with displaying the current temperature of the coolant.
POWER-OFF:
There is no shutdown procedure for the Cooler, however it is recommended to shut down the x-ray
source and let the Cooler cooldown the coolant to room temperature. The cooler can be switched OFF
without damaging. This is done by switching OFF the power supply to the cooler or switch off the Remote
On.
5.2.
Control keys
Four control keys are positioned under the three-digit temperature display of the Temperature Controller.
