Plug the 3-pin connector into the serial port of the device (pay attention to the pinout);

If you need read the collected data or configure the device, use the DB9 male to 3.5mm
serial adapter cable to connect the device to the host computer (sometimes a USB to
RS232 female adapter might be needed);

Power on the DTU.
Please note that the DuPont wires and RS232 to RS485 adapter featured in this section
are for illustrative purposes only. You can use a USB to RS232/RS485/TTL converter or
crimped M/F DuPont wires in combination with a compatible adapter to achieve the
same result. This will depend on the tools or cables you have available. Just be sure to
choose the appropriate substitute and connect the pins correctly for proper
installation.
