*** Note: Allow the oil enough time to sink through the bearings.
Wipe off excess oil to prevent it reaching the V-belts as oil and grease cause unnecessary slipping and extra wear.
To replenish or replace the correct oil for a ZF2-150, -180, -210, if possible Mobil EP 320 or an equivalent oil.
ISO 12925-1 Type CKC
Viscosity base oil at 40°C 320 Cst.
Temperature range -24°C tot 240°C
Good EP properties.
Use for a ZF2-240, if possible Mobil SY 320 or an equivalent oil.
ISO 6743-6 Type CKS
Viscosity base oil at 40°C 320 Cst.
Temperature range -30°C tot 230°C
Good properties.
1.8 Power Belt
A correct Power-belt tension is very important and should be checked after the first 2, 8 and 16 hours of service en
further on at regular times (at least every 40 hours of service). Re-tension if necessary.
To check the correct pré-tension of the Power belt you have to take the
"length" of the tensioning spring. The opening to
check the length of the spring will you find at the left bottom side of the main support frame.

The pré-tension of the Power belt is correct if the length of the spring (see the above picture) is in between 133 and 138
mm.
The length of the spring may never be less than 133 mm, this means too much strength on Power Belt / shafts /
bearings

Has the length of the spring become more than 138 mm you have to re-tighten the spring.
Handle as follow:
-
remove the Power belt cover
- remove plate
-
untighten nut
- tighten nut until the spring has a length of 133mm
- re-tighten the contra nut tightly
- re-assemble all the parts in the opposite way
