- Total width of paper: 215mm
- Width of each label x length: 100x 100mm
- Width of each gap: Left 5mm, center 5mm, right 5mm
- Margin between upper and lower label (Footer margin): 5mm
※This is optional size of paper for setting pre-cut roll label. Actual setting value should be changed
depending on size of label to be used.
Supposing that information about pre-cut label paper to be printed is same as above picture,
in order to use ‘Full Bleed’ method, width and length of image is to be enlarged by approx.
1mm. Therefore, size of each image becomes to be 100+1= 101mm in width and 100+1=
101mm in length. Because size of image is increased by 1mm respectively, the size of gap
should be decreased by 1mm each, i.e. width and length of each gap becomes 4mm. Also,
vertical gap of label (footer margin) shall be 4mm, which is size decreased by 1mm, because
length of image is also increased by 1mm.
3-4.5.2 ‘1M Measurement’ method
Set up a standard in pre-cut roll label as below so as for total length of adding that of labels and
gaps together to be approx. 1M.
Ex) 100x 100mm label 10EA, gap between label and label: 3mm
- Measure total length from first label to last label using ruler.
▶
Theoretically, total length should be 1027mm [(100mmx 10) + (Gap size 3mmx 9)].
However, if length of all gaps is not exactly 3mm, actual total length could be more or less than
1027mm.
- Supposing that actual length measured by ruler is 1028mm, if deducting total length of 10
labels (100mmx 10= 1000mm) from actual length, there would remain certain value, which is
actual value of 9 gaps.
1028mm – 1000mm = 28mm ◀ Value of adding length of 9 gaps together
