e) For work on buildings or load-bearing structures, closed
pipes or containers it is important to check, by means
of detectors, that inside there are not any: electrical or
telephone cables, liquids or gases under pressure (that
may be inflammable or corrosive), pipes etc.
Cutting, even
partially, of masonry may weaken the structure of the entire
building causing it to collapse. Leaking of liquids or gases
may cause explosions, fire and flooding.
f) If the tool stops during use, switch it off immediately.
Do
not force difficult operations for the tool.
g) Keep the tool stable with both hands and stand in a safe
work position.
The strains caused by working lead to stress
which must be contrasted with your force.
h) Fasten the item you are working on with a vice or another
device.
An item held by hand can suddenly cause an accident.
SAFETY WARNINGS
FOR NOISE AND VIBRATIONS
The level of noise and vibrations shown on the attached sheet
are average values for the use of the power tool. The use of
different attachments, different materials, different processes
such as cutting or wire brushing and the lack of tool maintenance
all have significant influence on noise and vibration. Therefore,
adopt all the preventive measures necessary to eliminate any
possible damage due to loud noises and strain from vibrations;
wear ear phones, anti-vibration gloves, take breaks while
working and ensure the power tool and its accessory are kept
efficient at all times.
REMAINING RISKS
These illustrations show the main risks involved with using the
machine. Read the machine instruction manual carefully.
Material and sparks flying
towards the operator’s eyes
and body. Use eye protection
and an anti-dust mask.
Loud noise generated while
working. Use ear protection.
Risk of cutting and abrasion.
Keep safety distance from the
working area, the abrasive ele-
ments, and do not touch any of
the moving parts. Always wear
protective gloves.
Risk of high vibrations. Wear
anti-vibration gloves. Take
regular breaks while working.
SYMBOLS
Carefully observe the symbols in fig. B and memorise their
respective meanings. Correct interpretation of the symbols
allows a safer use of the machine.
1 Model, technical data and production batch number. The first
2 figures of the batch indicate the year of manufacture.
2 Important!
3 Carefully read the instructions before use.
4 Wear protective gloves.
5 Wear safety goggles to protect your eyes, and safety earmuf-
fs.
6 Wear a mask to protect your respiratory tracts.
7 Double electric insulation.

Electric and electronic waste may contain potentially
hazardous substances for the environment and human health.
It should therefore not be disposed of with domestic waste,
but by means of differentiated collection at specific centres
or returned to the vendor in the event of purchasing a new
identical appliance. Illegal disposal of waste will result in
administrative sanctions.
