•  Clean the heat exchanger with a washing liquid with

neutral pH and lukewarm water. Then rinse it again
with clear lukewarm water.

•  Leave the heat exchanger dry before replacement.

a

 Caution!

To clean the heat exchanger use only a washing
liquid with neutral pH and lukewarm water.
Other detergents, especially acidic detergents
(such as vinegar cleaner), damage the unit.

With the removed heat exchanger check as well if the
condensation water drain (section 6.3) is dirty.

•  Slide the heat exchanger back into the unit. Take care

that the heat exchanger correctly fits into the guide
rails at the top and bottom of the housing and that it
is not installed off centre.

a

 Caution!

The heat exchanger must be flush with the
front side of the EPP body. A protruding heat
exchanger can cause leakages and condensate
escape.

6.3

Cleaning the Condensed Water Drain

To clean the condensation water drain, firstly remove
the heat exchanger (see section 6.2)
•  Unscrew the condensation water hose from the bot-

tom of the unit.

•  Check if the drain is free.

Clean it if is blocked.

•  If required, clean any dirt in the drain pan.
•  Clean the condensate drain trap and fill it with drink-

ing water
