Replacing the bearing in the hydraulic ram of the pre-
implements

Figure 4.11

1 Undo and remove the piston rod guide (A) using the hook wrench (B).

2 Pull out the ram piston. Replace the seal.

NOTE!

Be very sure that the seals face the correct way.

3 Check that there are no scratches on the jacket lining (C).

4 Assemble in reverse.

Check with your finger that the spill holes do not have any sharp edges. If necessary work the edg-
es with an abrasive cloth.

Carefully flush he ram prior to assembly. Assemble the ram on the implement.
