4.2 Roller unit service
Be very careful when servicing the roller ring unit. The implement is very heavy. Only use lifting
devices that have sufficient lifting capacity. Service on the roller ring unit should only be done on
a level and strong surface.
1 Disassemble the scraper from the section.
2 Undo the roller ring unit bearings from the frame supports.

3 Lift the implement as high as possible and block the lifting ram using the yellow locking de-
vice. Secure the locking device using a cotter and locking pin. Also secure the implement using
trestles or similar.
4 Roll the roller ring unit out of the way from the frame.

5 Tighten the two rings between which the spring is located using strap, etc.
