Inserting the door filter / filter mat
Do not operate the appliance without the filter mat.
▸ Insert the filter mat in the door filter. En-
sure the lug is positioned correctly.
The filter mat does not have to be dry before being inserted in the door filter.
▸ Insert the door filter and engage in posi-
tion.
▸ Close the filter cover.

Cleaning the base filter
As required or with «A9»
The appliance will not start without the base filter in place.
▸ Hold the filter up to the light to detect de-
posits. Wash the filter to clean off heavy
deposits.
▸ Clean with an abrasive liquid cleaning
agent (immerse if necessary) and a
sponge; use cleaning vinegar with hard
water.
▸ Rinse off under running water and allow
to drip dry.
