Drying and desiccating

Only use healthy, ripe fruit, fresh mushrooms and herbs.

Place the washed and chopped fruit, mushrooms or herbs on baking paper on the
wire shelf or on the original baking tray and put in the cooking space at the ap-
propriate level.

When drying or desiccating, use only the wire shelf and original baking tray at
the same time.
A
Turn the food at regular intervals to ensure even drying.
Always keep your eye on foodstuffs when drying or desic
cating them – if they dry out too much, they can pose a fire
hazard!
Wedge a wooden spoon between the underside of the operating panel and
the top of the appliance door, leaving about a 2 cm gap open.
