Preparations for «Soft roasting seared»

Heat some fat in a pan.

Sear the meat on all sides (for no more than 5 minutes).

Then place the meat in a glass or porcelain dish.

Insert the food probe into the meat so that the tip is in the centre of the
thickest part. The food probe must as far as possible be completely cov-
ered by the meat in order to get a correct reading.

Put the wire shelf at level

and place the dish on it.

Plug the food probe into the socket.
Preparations for «Soft roasting with grill»
A
Marinate or season the meat. Roll and tie up less compact cuts of meat
such as a boneless leg of lamb so that the roast browns evenly under the
grill.

Fix the meat on the rotisserie spit or place it in the roasting basket accord-
ing to the instructions given in 'Rotisserie spit and roasting basket'. Then,
together with the rotisserie frame, put it in the cooking space.

Secure the food probe on the rotisserie frame as described in 'Rotisserie
spit and roasting basket' and plug into the socket.
