Note:
•
To set the self-composed melody as ring for a call or alarm, please
refer to section
“Melody Select”.
•
If the battery is removed while the melody is being composed the
melody recorded will be lost.
•
If there is an incoming call or you press
during composition of
a melody, the composed content will be saved temporarily. The
phone can only save one temporary data. To resume the
composition, please refer to section
“Resuming Melody
Composing”
.
3.6.2 Modifying a Melody
•
You can modify the self-composed melody that is saved in the phone.
1. Press
to display
“Melody Compose”
screen.
2. Press
to select the melody you want to edit Press
to enter
melody composing screen, which allows you to edit the melody.

“Composing a new melody”

to select a data number for saving the melody press

If you select an unused data number, the
“Title”
screen will be
displayed. Enter the title. The maximum number of characters allowed
is 20 alphabets or 40 alphanumeric characters.
•
If you select a used data number,
“Replace?”
is displayed. Select
“YES”
press
to replace the melody.
•
When the replaced melody has been set as the ring for calls, alarms,
schedules, SMS/Mail, favorite calls and group calls,
“Change as a
Ringer?”
is displayed.
6. Enter the title press
, to display
“Registered”
, which means the edited
melody has been saved.
