When you set a group, the master phone (Step 5 in setting the master) and the
slave phone (Step 7 in setting the slave phone) must press
at the same time.
•
While setting up a group, the master phone and the slave phone must be within
100 meters. As cell stations do not transmit the signals, the two phones need to
be within the area where the signals are received (about 100 meters).
10.1.2 Setting the Slave Phone
1. Press , to display the “Group Setting” screen.
2. Press to display slave setting screen, “Enter Group No.” .
3. Use numeric keys to enter group number (the number can be 1, 2 or 3).

After the master phone number is entered, “Enter Tras No.” is displayed.
4. Enter the transceiver number (1-8000).
5. Press , to display the “Password” screen.
6. Enter group password.
•
The master phone and the slave phone must enter the same password.
•
To change the password, please press to delete the number entered.
7. Press , to display “Setting” .
•
The master phone should be set at the same time. Please refer to Step 1-4 of
‘Setting the master phone’ until
“Setting” appears in Step 5.
•
When the setting is complete, “End Setting” will be displayed.
•
If the setting fails, “Setting Failed” will be displayed. Press to return to
the screen of Step 1.
10.2 Deleting a Group
•
You can cancel an existing group.
1. Press , to display “Delete Group” screen.
2. Enter password.
•
The password is the phone password.
•
If the password is correct, “Group 1-3” screen will be displayed. If the
password is incorrect, “Invalid Password” will be displayed and the
phone will back at standby mode screen.
3. Press to select the group number you want to delete press , to display
“Delete?” .
•
The group that has not been set is grayed out and cannot be selected.
