If you select “Reply” , the recipient’s phone number will be
automatically filled in the address line.
•
If you select “Forward” , the original content of the message will be
automatically filled in the text area.
•
If you select a message in Out Box in step 2, “1 Reply” in sub menu
will be grayed out and cannot be selected.
6. Please refer to section “Composing a New Message” Step 2-8 to edit and
send message.
6.7 Setting/Canceling SMS Protect
•
You can protect an important message from being deleted accidentally.
The maximum number of protected messages possible is: In Box 30 and
Out Box 20.
1. Press to display “SMS Box” .
•
If there is no message in the phone, “SMS Box” is grayed out and
cannot be selected.
2. Press to select the SMS Box that saves the message you want to set
to protect press .
3. Press to select the message.
4. Press to display the sub menu.
•
If there is no space for the new message to be set to protect, “1
Protect” item will be grayed out and cannot be selected.
5. Press to select “Protect”, “Set” will be displayed once the selected
message has been set to protect.
•
The protected message has a “ ”next to it in SMS list.

•
If a message is a protected message, press , the sub menu will
display “1 Unprotect”, “2 Phone Book” and “3 Detail” . Press ,
“Set” will be displayed , which means the selected message has been
set to ‘unprotected’; press to save the recipient’s or sender’s
phone number into the phone book. (Please refer to section “Editing a
Phone Book).
