10/100 Mbps Network Card Installation
Before you begin
Before you begin, we recommend you uninstall or disable any other Network Interface Cards
(NICs) you have in your system. Refer to your old NIC’s documentation for removal instructions.
Note:
Your model number is 7900. It is important that you have your serial number
written down before you install the 10/100 Mbps Network Card. You can find your serial
number next to the LEDs on the outside of the bracket of the 10/100 Mbps Network Card
and on the side of the package. If you ever need to call our Technical Support
department, you will need this number to receive assistance.
Note:
Touch an unpainted metal area of your computer’s case to ground yourself. This will
protect your equipment from electrostatic discharge.
Note:
During the Installation procedure, you may be prompted for your Windows
Operating System CD-ROM. Make sure you have that available in case you need it.
