Table 3-41: \R<value> Commands

\T<time delay>—Inactivity Timer

Use this command to specify the delay time used by the inactivity timer. The delay
time is the length of time in minutes that the modem waits during periods of
inactivity before disconnecting. Periods of inactivity are defined by no data being
sent or received by the DCE. To disable the inactivity timer, use the

T0

command.

The delay time may also be specified in register S30 (see “S30—Inactivity Timer”
on page 89).

This function is only applicable in buffer mode.

Result codes:

OK

if <time delay> = 0—255.

ERROR

if <time delay> does not equal 0—255.
