Breaker Block
In Run Mode, the Breaker Block indicates:
•
Phase current values (Ia, Ib, Ic)
o
Green values indicate data obtained from the trip unit.
•
Total real power value (KW) (appears if an AC-PRO-II with Voltage Divider Module or
AC-PRO with PT Module is connected)
•
Breaker position status and communication status
o
Red = Energized/Closed, Communications active (see Section 3 for
“Preference”
setting)
o
Black = Open or Unknown, Communications active (see Section 3 for
“Preference”
setting)
▪
NOTE: This state is described as Open or Unknown as many breakers are
not presently supplied with URC limit switches. Therefore, in many
applications, current flow is used to indicate position, and even if current is
“Low”, the breaker could still be closed.
o
Gray = Trip unit not communicating
•
Breaker T
ripped indication (Red “X” appears)
•
Alarm indication (Red bell symbol flashes)
o
Trip occurred, Current greater than LT Pickup setting, and Actuator open circuit
conditions will always result in Alarm indication
o
For AC-PRO-II, indication of alarms for other conditions is possible, but the alarm
settings must be programmed at the AC-PRO-II.
•
Quick-Trip indication
(“QT ON” appears)
•
