SECURING THE CHILD

Loosen and unbuckle harness.

Place child in Child Restraint making sure their body
is making full contact with the seating surface.

Adjust Active Response Headrest so that it is
positioned just above the child's shoulders
providing a fingertip of space at most.
NOTE: It is ok for headrest to touch child's
shoulders.

Place harness over child and insert buckle tongues
into the buckle until a"click" is heard. Pull up on the
buckle tongues to make sure they are locked.

Pull up on the harness to remove excess slack
around the child's legs. Pull harness adjuster strap
to tighten.

Close the Chest Clip and position the top of the
clip at armpit level.

Harness should be snug. Pinch harness webbing at
child’s shoulder (under shoulder pad). If you can
pinch webbing, the harness is too loose
and should be tightened.
