The transmission unit (6) is not watertight und should never be immersed in water or washed in

Check the contents of the box. Place the transmission unit on the recipient. Place the ESGE-
Zauberstab
®
vertically on the transmission shaft (7) and switch it on.
How to work
For chopping of:
Vegetables (onions,
coleslaw, pepperoni etc.)
Fruit
(e.g. apples)
Bread crumbs
Meat
(cooked or raw)
Chocolate, nuts
1. Place the discharge plate (2) into the bowl
(1). Make sure that the four notches of the
plate match the recesses of the bowl.
2. Place the chopping knife (3) on the shaft of
the plate (2).
Please handle the chopping
knife with great care as it‘s very sharp.
3. Put the food (meat, vegetable, fruit etc.)
into the bowl (incl. discharge plate and
chopping knife). Most foodstuffs enlarge
their volume when they are ground, there-
fore we recommend that you do not fill the
bowl more than half.
4. Place the transmission unit on the bowl.
5. Place the ESGE-Zauberstab
®
without
excercising too much pressure on the
transmission shaft (7) and switch your
ESGE-Zauberstab
®
onto 2nd speed.
6. Fill the foodstuff into the feed tube. If the
foodstuff is too large, cut it into convenient
pieces fitting easily into the funnel.
7. Always use the pusher (9) to add additional
foodstuff through the feed tube. Fill
the feed tube completely. If not filled
sufficiently, vegetable pieces may block the
appliance. Never reach with your fingers
or with any hard utensils (spoons, knives,
bones etc.) into the feed tube!
8. The patented discharge plate (2) makes it
very easy to take the finished food out of
the bowl.
