
7.4 Acoustic Signal
If the [Hz] key is pressed at the same time as the multime-
ter is switched on, the signal sound is switched off again.

when switching the multimeter off and on again.
7.5 Display Light
All UNITEST Hexagon multimeters are equipped with a dis-
play light. When pressing the
for a longer time, the
display light is switched on an confirmed by a single
acoustic signal. After approx. 30s the display light is
switched off again to save battery power.
7.6 Relative Value
The relative value function is used to set the display to zero
in order to determine the relative value in relation to a
measurement value.
Press the
key. The triangle appears on the display
screen an the display is set to zero.
Carry out the measurement in compliance with the para-
graph above. The relative value in relation to the measure-
ment value is displayed.
One of many applications of this function would be the
measurement of fiber optic cables in connection with the
respective measurement instruments.
