PROCEDURES
5. Dismantle evaporator from the main body.
5.1. Unfasten flare nuts and disconnect piping connected to
the piping of evaporator.
5.1. Unfasten screws (8) connected to scroll plate.
5.2. Unfasten screws of top/ lower pan drain and dismantle
'Top/Lower Pan Drain'.
5.3. Unfasten grounding screw (1 each) connected to evaporator
and 'Cabinet'.
5.4. Slowly lift up evaporator and dismantle it from the main body.
* Caution : 1. Take caution not to have evaporator tip over while
unfastening screws.
2. Wear gloves to protect hands from being scratched
or cut by the fin of evaporator.
3. Take caution not to have the fin of evaporator bent
or pressed. Bending or pressing of fin may cause
deterioration in performance.
6. Dismantle 'Indoor fan motor'.
6.1. Dismantle 'Cover Housing' at the top and bottom
(3 screws each)

6.2. Dismantle 'Fan Indoor' at the top and bottom
(a nut each)

6.3. Open 'Box Control' and disconnect motor power harness and
capacitor harness from PCB.
6.4. Unfasten nuts fixed to cabinet. Remove indoor motor through
the hole of scroll and disconnect it
(3 nuts each)
.
* Caution: 1. Check if main power has been cut off before opening
the 'Box Control'. There is danger of electric shock.
2. Take caution when removing harness of indoor motor
power line through the hole of scroll. Otherwise, the
lines may be cut off.
7. Administer assembly in the reverse order of dismantling.
