Storage Management lets you reformat your microSD card (erasing all records) or allow new video
records to copy over older records when the microSD card is full. Overwrite erases the oldest record
to free space for the new fi le. More than one record may be erased depending on the new fi le’s size.
STORAGE MANAGEMENT
The Uniden Guardian System supports up to a 32 GB microSD Card.
From the pop-up menu, tap the
following icons as they appear
on the screens:
This screen should display:
1. Tap Storage Management on the System Setup screen. The
Storage Management
screen
displays.
2. You can tap either
Format
or
Overwite
from this screen.
FORMAT
Formatting the microSD card erases all data. If there are files you need to keep, transfer those files
from the microSD card to your computer.
1. Tap the Format portion of the
Storage Management
screen. A confirmation screen displays,
asking if you wish to continue.
2. Tap OK.
Reformat your microSD card every 4 - 6 weeks for optimum performance.
OVERWRITE
Overwrite lets the system delete the oldest records in order to record new records when the mi-
croSD card is full. It might be necessary to delete more than one record to save the new record,
depending on size.
1. Tap the Overwrite portion of the Storage Management screen.
