11. CONFIGURING STARFLOW QSD
Starflow QSDs are configured just as if they were a regular instrument. When you create a
scheme, an instrument for the Starflow QSD is always added as the first instrument. Double
click on 6527/6537 Starflow QSD. This will then display all the Internal channels available for
logging (e.g., Depth Velocity, Temperature, Battery, Spread, Samples), you will need to
make sure their entries on the
Internal Channels
tab are ticked:
Please note that Starflow QSD is not a “plug and play” type of instrument.
To get the most accurate and reliable information relevant to your installation, you will need,
in a way, to “calibrate” Starflow QSD. That’s why it is always recommended that initially,
Frequency, Spread, Samples and Signal are ticked in the internal channels TAB. This
