Operation
9.1.2PG-I 35 SR
Cable start
Step 1: Check oil and fuel and top up if necessary.
Step 2: Open the filler cap vent.

Step 3: Turn the knob for the fuel tap to "ON".

Step 4: Turn the motor switch to the "ON" or "RUN" posi-
tion

Step 5: Turn the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position
Fig. 29: Actuate choke
Step 7: Slowly pull the pull starter until resistance is felt.
Then jerk the pull starter.

Step 8: Warm up the engine until it runs smooth and
round.
Step 9: Push the choke lever back to the "RUN" position.

Electrical start
Step 1: Open the tank cap vent.
DANGER!
Never start or stop the engine when electrical
appliances are connected.
Disconnect all electrical appliances from the genera-
tor before starting.
Check that the generator is level.
