Maintenance plan
If an increase in wear is noted during regular inspec-
tions, the maintenance intervals should be decreased in
accordance with the actual signs of wear. Contact the
manufacturer for further information concerning mainte-
nance tasks and intervals. Please find the contact data
on chapter 1.2 Customer service.
If the lever hoist is not functioning properly, contact a
specialised dealer or our customer service.
Immediately reassemble all protective and safety equip-
ment after completing the repair and maintenance of the
device.
Step 1: Lubricate all moving parts of the Lever hoist
(gears, bearings) with good quality grease. Oil
the chain well.
Step 2: Check the lever hoist before each operation for
visible signs of wear.
Step 3: Always ensure that all safety information on the
lever hoist is clearly legible.
Visual inspection and maintenance
Checking the brake system:
Brake tests and ratchet tests have to be done as explained
in the following:

- Maintenance and repair works must only be per-
formed by specialists.
Use only original spare parts in case of a repair.

wear, look particularly at the cable
and check for deflection, stretching,
fissures or corrosion.

operation Check brake and ratchet with pawl
for damage and wear. Clean brake
discs, ratchet disc and pawl if neces-
sary. Replace them if they are heavily
worn.
before each
operation Check the load and suspension
hooks for wear or loss of substance
from abrasion. If the wear exceeds
5% of the normal working level, the
hook must be replaced.
Functional test:
Set the mode-selection switch to the
UP and DOWN positions and check
the lifting and lowering functions.

During operation the following
troubles must not occur:
The brake blocks lifting of the
load.
Load lowers itself slowly in
spite of actviated brake.
The load falls down, when the
lever is released.
After each
use Clean the lever hoist thoroughly and
lubricate well. Oil the load chain, load
hook and the support hook well.

hours Lubricate gear and bearing well.

hours Check the function of the brake and
the ratchet.

hours Cleaning of the brake discs and
ratchet disc.

hours Check and measure the amount of
wear on the brake disc, the ratchet
disc with pawl.

wear on the chain links, load hook
and support hook.
as required Replacing the brake disc and ratchet
disc with pawl.
as required Replacing the chain links, the sup-
port hook and the load hook.
annually Safety check: If the lever hoist is
used commercially it must be in-
spected annually in compliance with
industrial safety regulations and the
inspection must be recorded as per
Section 10.

Check the function of the brake system regularly!
