Step 5: Set the shift lever to the AUF position.
Step 6: Lift the load carefully until the load chain is un-
der tension.
Step 7: At first lift the load only a little and check
whether the load and chain is stable.
Step 8: Lift the load smoothly and equally upwards.
8.4 Load lowering
Step 1: Set the shift lever to the position AB.
Step 2: Lower the load smoothly and equally down-
wards.
Step 3: Set down the load on a firm, safe surface.
Step 4: Set the shift lever to the NEUTRAL position to re-
lease the load from the lever hoist.
Step 5: Pull the load chain through, open the safety latch
and take down the load.

9.1 Care by cleaning
The lever hoist must always be kept in a clean condition.
All plastic and lacquered surfaces should be cleaned
using a soft, damp cloth and a neutral cleaning agent.
Remove any excess lubricant or leaked oil using a dry,
lint-free cloth.

Care, maintenance and repair
Daily inspection of the hoist
Step 1: Check the chain links, the hooks and the safety
brackets before every use for wear and outer
damages.
Step 2: Check the lever hoist for outer damages, for
completeness and firm seat of all screws and
nuts before every use.
NOTE!
- Do not wrap the load chain around the load.
- Load chain must not be turned in itself.
- Check the location of the centre of gravity in order
to prevent the load from slipping or moving.
- The means of attachment (eyelet, chain or similar)
must sit loosely in the base of the hook.
- The point of the hook must not bear the load.
- Close the safety catch.
NOTE!
The operator must have sufficient freedom of move-
ment.
The lever hoist must be able to swing freely in the
direction of pulling.
DANGER!
Danger of life by crashing the load!
Danger of overheating of the brake system with par-
ticularly frequent lowering of loads within a short
time without cooling phase.
CAUTION!
Risk of crushing!
Lowering the load can cause bruising of the upper
and lower limbs.
- Do not hold the upper and lower limbs between the
load and the ground when lowering the load.
WARNING!
Danger of injury by the use of wrong spare
parts!
Dangers may result for the user and damages as
well as malfunctions may be caused by using wrong
or damaged spare parts.
- Only use original spare parts of the manufacturer or
spare parts admitted by the manufacturer.
- Always contact the manufacturer in case of uncer-
tainties.
NOTE!
Loss of waranty
- The manufacturer's warranty will become null and
void if non-permissible spare parts are used.
Use protective gloves!
NOTE !
Never use strong cleaning agents to clean the de-
vice. Such cleaning agents might damage or destroy
the device.
