Appendix C-10 Garmin GTN 6XX-7XX App Note

The GTN 6xx-7xx series supports Garmin ADS-B+ output.

The following software requirements are necessary to use the GTN 6xx-7xx as a rule
compliant position source.

600 SERIES: GTN 625 / 635 / 650
700 SERIES: GTN 725 / 750

Main software version 3.00 or later and GPS software version 5.0 or later

Serial Connection

The GTN series has 4 serial ports for use with various avionics. EchoUAT needs a single wire
from one of the available RS-232 Out on the Garmin GTN to Pin 6 the EchoUAT.
