Maintenance – Cooling Fans
A fan located on the operator right side of the machine allows for intake air
flow. The filter included should be monitored and replaced when enough
debris is present to restrict air flow. Replacement filters can be ordered
through TYKMA Electrox using part number: 19155K8. To remove the filter
material, simply grab the black plastic cover on the top and bottom and pull
gently at an angle. The cover will snap back into place after replacing the
filter.
Ensure the cooling outlets on the rear of the unit do not become clogged,
blocked or restricted. Periodically check for build up or debris within the
slots. If debris is present, use a vaccum to remove the debris.
Do not blow the debris off using compressed air. This can force unwanted
particulate into the laser enclosure.
