1. Place end plate on rotors.
2. Apply a thin coat of lubricant on the rotor shafts
and the inner race of the bearings. Tap the
bearings into place using a tube with a

anged
end that will contact both the inner and outer
bearing races (see
Figure 8-11
).
3. Install bearing retainers to both bearings.
4. Check clearances between the end of the
rotors and the face of the end plate.
