- Guide the ball joint over the ball of the towing vehicle;
- Open the ball joint (Fig. 4-2);
- After having lowered the wheel 3 (FIG.4-6) lift the parking feet (FIG.4-5) to support the machine weight, so that the ball joint
engages correctly on the vehicle’s ball (Fig. 4-3/4);
- Raise the outrigger feet completely;
- Correctly assemble and fix the lighting bar. Connect and check correct operation of the lighting bar cable.
- Connect the lights power supply cable to the towing vehicle.
- Introduce the pull cable in the appropriate cable guide eyelet (FIG.4-8).
- Remove the wheels' parking wedges and place them in their housing.
- Release the parking brake 5 (Fig. 4-6) from the wheels.
4.1.3 Release the trailer
- Disconnect the lights power supply cable from the towing vehicle;
- lower the outrigger feet to the ground;
- lift the ball joint handle;
- release the trailer from the towing vehicle.
- Pull the hand brake: Forcely fasten the hand brake beyond the dead centre.
The side parts of the towing bar may loosen if not used for a prolonged period of time, due to sudden side
or upward movements.
