3.7 SIGNS ON THE MACHINE
The machine is fitted with labels having different purposes:
Danger
They inform the operator to act with caution and attention since there is a latent danger. The danger sign is triangular with a
black frame, yellow background and black mark.
Prohibition
They inform the operator on the prohibition to perform certain actions or have certain behaviours that can compromise health.
The prohibition sign is round with a red edge and diagonal stripe, white background and black mark.
Obligation
They inform the operator on the obligation to use protective means or have certain behaviours. The obligation sign has a blue
background and white mark.
These labels are placed on the machine parts where there is a residual risk.
Information
They inform the operator on specific functions.
These labels are positioned immediately near the element to which they refer. (The machine controls are described in § 5.3).
Keep the signs clean.
It is forbidden to remove the signs.
Replace worn and/or illegible signs.
