This appendix concerns the software development library found on the
Model 8587A Laser Photometer CD-ROM supplied with the instrument.
The purpose of the library is to facilitate user-developed Microsoft Windows
software applications that communicate with TSI USB (Universal Serial
Bus) devices including the Model 8587A Laser Photometer.
Note: When programming using RS-232 serial communications, this
library is not needed, and information in this appendix does not
apply.
The information presented is pertinent for program development using
Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0. Information presented in this appendix is
designed for experienced program developers.
