The Model 8587A is a “client” USB device receiving and transmitting data
from a computer. The Model 8587A
cannot act as a USB host.
Command Strings for Instrument Control and
Data Acquisition
The Laser Photometer accepts command strings from the microcomputer
via its serial port or USB port for control internal switching of valves,
transmitting digital voltage data and performing other functions. The
command strings and their functions are given below. Command strings
must be followed by a Carriage Return.
