9.2 LCD
screen
The LCD screen allows you to view the photographs and video clips, use the menu,
etc. If you turn the LCD screen off, the batteries will have a longer life span.
Capture mode or video mode:
•
Press the LCD button (7, figure 2) to turn the details off.
•
Press the LCD button again to turn the viewfinder off.
•
Press the LCD button again to turn the LCD screen off.
•
Press the LCD button again to make everything visible.
Note:
You cannot alter anything in the menu when the LCD screen is turned
off.
Playback mode:
•
Press the LCD button (7, figure 2) to view the recording. The details will be
turned off.
•
Press the LCD button again. Thumbnails of the photographs and video clips will
be displayed.
•
Press the LCD button again to return to the normal image.
Set-up or sound record mode:
it is not possible to turn the LCD screen off in this
mode.
9.3 Stand
The stand supplied with the camera can be used to keep the camera stable. It is
recommended to use the stand if you use the automatic exposure function, the macro
function or when the camera is used as a webcam.
1.
Screw the stand into place on the bottom of the camera
2.
Unfold the feet, unlock the stand using the handle and place the camera in
the desired position.
3.
Lock the stand by placing the handle back in the starting position.

Attaching the wrist strap
You can attach the wrist strap to the camera for optimal ease of use and safety.
1.
Insert the thin end of the wrist strap through the eye (1, figure 1).
2.
Make a loop from the part of the wrist strap which has been inserted through
the eye.
3.
Thread the other end of the wrist strap through the loop.

settings
You can change the fixed settings in this menu, such as the sound, energy saving
function, etc.
