20 Use with an Apple Macintosh

This camera can also be used on an Apple Macintosh computer, which has a USB
port and Mac OS 9.2 and higher and Mac OS 10.x to Mac OS 10.2.8

Connecting:

Connect the camera to a USB port on your Apple Macintosh (see

Chapter 9.1) Do not connect the camera to the USB port on the keyboard.

Mac OS 9.2.x:

A pictogram “Unlabelled” will appear on the desktop. Open the folder

and view the files.

Mac OS X

: Pictograms “Unlabeled”for the internal memory and “Unlabeled 1” for the

external memory card will appear on the desktop. Open the folder and view the files.

Disconnecting:

before disconnecting the camera from the USB port select

“Unlabeled” and click on “Remove Media” in Finder, or use the key combination “ -
E”. Both disks must be removed.

21.1

Checking after the installation

After installing the device and the driver, the following are installed on your computer
and can be checked.

Windows 98SE

- Disk Drives – Trust 1220S PowerC@M (2x)
- Hard disk controllers – 1220S PowerC@m Optical Zoom
- Hard disk controllers – USB Mass Storage Device
